MichelleTinsley-200x300Tinsley works at finding solutions. She is a problem solver as the Director of the Transactional Retail Team, a part of Intel's Retail Solutions Division, where she is responsible for the company's efforts in setting global strategy for transactional devices. Michelle and her team work at defining product strategies to solve end retailer problems. During her 20-plus years at Intel, she has progressed from a controller proxy in Copenhagen, Denmark, to supporting the Intelligent Systems Group in various controller positions, to the General Manager of the Personal Solutions Division, and she now serves as Director of the Transactional Retail Team.

Michelle stays busy outside of Intel, where she is an active member of the Arizona State University Dean’s Council of 100. This is a group of hand-selected professional thought-leaders who council the W. P. Carey School of Business in both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. Tinsley received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Arizona State University.

Michelle shares her talents in various volunteer positions. She's served on the Tempe YMCA Board of Directors for five years, leading the board one year as president. As part of United Way, she's been on the Financial Stability Advisory Council and the United Way Women's Leadership Council. Since 2012, Michelle has served as a Mentor with the ASU Furnace Incubator. She is also a member of the Arizona Technology Investment Fund (ATIF). She's been a long-time volunteer with her church and devotes time to volunteering at her son's school.
